Shop Character Pricing

Character creation costs 10 credits after the first character. The first character has no credit charge because createcharacter.go only charges when usage.GetCharactersCount() > 0.

Shop price tiers map to:

  • Tier 1: 300 credits
  • Tier 2: 500 credits
  • Tier 3: 1000 credits

The first shop claim can be free for tier 1 or tier 2 when the user has no finished or purchased character.

Shop claims and Characters V2 share one first-character allowance. A reserved or captured CV2 first-character billing operation blocks a free shop claim, even before creation finishes. Released operations do not block the claim. Completed CV2 creation sessions and finished or purchased legacy characters also count, including soft-deleted history.

Fulfillment rechecks free-claim eligibility under the same account and credit locks as CV2 billing. Confirming shop ownership and consuming an available first-character allowance happen in one transaction. Failed confirmation leaves the allowance unchanged, and a paid shop purchase preserves an active CV2 reservation so its original operation can settle it.

An unfinished legacy draft alone does not block a free shop claim, even when a previous migration marked its CV2 allowance consumed. Eligibility uses character history and billing operations rather than that state alone. A stale free claim is rejected without charging credits and asks the user to refresh.
